Ozprivatesale.com has been designed with buyer's as well as seller's in mind. Our site is basically a place that brings private buyer's and seller's together from around Australia. We do not try to direct the sale process, we leave that up to you, after all that’s what private buying and selling is all about. Below is some information on how you can get the most out of our site. How to Search Properties
To begin searching for properties on Ozprivatesale.com.au you can either click on a state on the home page, or click on the 'buying’ button on the home page.
Whichever way you go, you will be asked to choose a state within which you want to search for properties. Choose a state to begin searching.
You are then directed to a new page, where you will be asked to choose a region in the state, you can do this by clicking on the map, or by choosing one in the text box to the left. If you want to choose more than one region just hold down the control key, and choose multiple in the text box.
You are then directed to a new page, where you can further define your search. The options available are
Town
Property type
Number of bedrooms
Price range
If you don’t want to define your search to this extent, you can just choose a region or town and choose to view all properties within those areas. A tip, if you define you search too narrowly you may not get many properties returned, if this happens perhaps choose to view simply all properties in the region you are interested.
You can also do a 'Quik Search' from the 'Buying' page, where you can view properties listed by searching by
Suburb
Post Code
Property ID
Notify Me Alert
We have a feature called the ‘notify me’ alert which allows you to specify what type of property and in what area you are interested in. And when properties matching your criteria are advertised on Ozprivatesale.com.au you will be emailed a notification and the ID of the property, the email will also contain a link, so you can view the property directly. This allows you to be searching for your perfect property 24 hours a day. Check it out!
My Shortlist
We have also provided a tool we call ‘my shortlist ’ which allows you to add properties you like to your 'my shortlist' folder. This is done by clicking on the ‘add to my shortlist’ button when you are viewing a property

A) You can call them directly through the phone numbers that are present on the listing, or you can email them by clicking the ‘email owners’ button on the property listing. Q) Does it cost me anything?
A) Simple answer no! Searching for properties and using all of the buyer's tools is absolutely free.
Q) Does Ozprivatesale.com.au participate in the sale process?
A) No, we offer a popular website where sellers can advertise their property, and all the tools for the buyers to find the property they want. The sale process is up to you, otherwise it wouldn’t really be private selling would it!
